The mission of Aslan Youth Ministries is to provide relationship-based programs that permanently impact the bodies, minds and spirits of disadvantaged urban children and empower them to overcome their negative environments and circumstances. Aslan’s programs include one-on-one mentoring and tutoring, character development classes anchored in Christian values and principles, recreational activities, summer camps, cultural enrichment programs, intervention services, and scholarship assistance programs for higher learning.

Solutions Pregnancy & Health Center is a challenging ministry with beautiful rewards. As the body of Christ, the volunteers work together in the service of women in the midst of a profound crisis – women who often need nothing more than someone to talk to. There is an ongoing need for volunteers in a wide range of areas. Please consider helping in one of the following capacities.
Church Liaisons
These volunteers represent Solutions to their congregation and act as a liaison between the ministry and their church.
Financial Partners
Donors are needed to support the ministry on a regular basis.
Male Volunteers
Volunteers provide hands-on help with building maintenance & special projects.
Help-Line Volunteers
Working from their home, help-line volunteers are often the first contact a client has with the ministry.
Medical Staff
Registered nurses and ultrasound technicians provide ultrasound exams for pregnant, abortion vulnerable women.
Office Volunteers
These volunteers perform receptionist & secretarial functions, as well as prepare mailings.
Clothing Cottage Volunteers
These volunteers coordinate the maternity & baby clothing donations.
Peer Counselors
Volunteer counselors are trained extensively in-house and provide counseling and support services to clients and their families in unplanned pregnancy situations.
Prayer Partners
Members of our prayer ministry receive a monthly prayer sheet to help them pray specifically for the ministry.
StraightTalk Speakers
These volunteers go to schools and youth groups to present the abstinence message to teens in an interactive format.
